New Spot on the Block

Whenever I move some furniture, our cats start exploring...

Nim found herself a new "bed" on top of the record player.

(I've used a tea towel to prevent scratches)
She's been lying there for 3 days in a row now.

Return the Sender

Yes, the RT20 radio has been delivered yesterday and we handed over de SK55.

A loose contact in the turntable was causing volume problems

although the radio part was working perfectly.

We're really lucky we bought the SK55 and RT20 from this man.

He knows an electrician (elektrieker) who can fix these oldies.

The seller isn't charging us extra money for the repairs and delivery.

A welcome rarity nowadays ☆

Saturday Shopping

Today we went to Schoten to buy a graphite Braun radio RT20 and turntable SK55.

Both being Dieter Rams designs from 1961 and 1963.

The RT20 radio wasn't working so it will be delivered later.

Too bad the turntable wasn't working good either when we came home.

Hopefully it just needs some warming up and some personal attention...
