A family member was involved in a serious car accident.
Today she'll have a second operation.

So many friends are thinking of her and hoping for the best!

Pretty Pelargonium

Pelargonium sidoides

I was never fond of geraniums or pelargoniums until I discovered the small ones.

This Pelargonium is a tender compact evergreen perennial with grey-green velvety leaves.

Loose clusters of dark maroon flowers from late spring and throughout summer.

I take cuttings every year  and I bring the plants inside the house to hibernate.

We're both knackered so we're going to do some therapeutic gardening,

This combination looks very promising........

It's Echinacea pallida and Knautia macedonica.

Tulips

Today I went to the weekly market to buy myself some tulips.

It's a variety with small bordeaux coloured flowers.

They colour my weekend.

Breakfast outside

Blueberry-eldery juice, coffee, tea and some sourdough.

My sunday breakfast

A cup of green tea and a sandwich with (sweet-and-sour) cranberry jam.
