At the last minute we decided to visit Pukkelpop again.

We just couldn't resist the Afghan Whigs and At the Drive-In ☆

I could have seen the Afghan Whigs earlier in the summer of 2012.

Then I bought a PKP ticket for 3 days but the traveling, temperature (36˚ C)

and no shade because all the big trees had been cut after the disaster of 2011...

it was too exhausting for me so I went to the festival on Thursday and Saturday.

As a result I missed the Afghan Whigs on Friday ☹

Yesterday was a beautiful day!

Small Festival

Sorry you had to wait so long..... it has been a busy day.

Yesterday we went to Pukkelpop festival.

It's a 3-days festival but we only bought tickets for friday.

We had a great time and we saw Daughter, Chvrches, Skunk Anansie, Dez Mona and the Prodigy.
 That we ended on Hasselt's railway station at 3 AM and we had to wait for 5 hours to get the first train home, is just a minor detail. Around ten we could finally go to sleep :)

Come Out and Play Festival

Yesterday we went to the Come Out and Play festival in Oss.

Although it was pretty cold and dark we had a great time!

It came as a surprise to me to see my parents turn up for this event :)

In 2011 we went to Pukkelpop to see the Foo Fighters but
we had to wait for another year due to the storm.

They were definitely worth while waiting for!!!!!

Pukkelpop 2012

We went to Pukkelpop festival in Hasselt in 2011 to see the Foo Fighters.

What started as a beautiful day ended in a real disaster. The weather changed rapidly.

One minute we were dancing in the rain (which was nice after lots of sunshine) during the performance of Skunk Anansie.

The next minute we started running to find some cover for this storm.

We were okay but the festival ended on it's first day at 18.30h.

Not everybody was so lucky. Lots of people got hurt and 5 people died that day.

We first heard about this awful news after we got home at 3.30h.

Today I received some news about the line-up for Pukkelpop 2012.

Guess what......the Foo Fighters are coming again!

Pukkelpop is still our favourite festival and we're still hoping to see the Foo Fighters live.

We will be there on august 18th :-)
