Bird Pot

In the early days ceramic bird pots were used to harvest young birds to eat them.

We are only trying to provide some extra nesting opportunities.

There are terracotta bird pots with different sized openings.

Our first ceramic pot is for great tit, blue tit, sparrow

or whatever bird decides to come and live with us...

Art Nouveau

In the company of a good friend I visited the Art Nouveau exhibition in The Hague.

I just love to be surrounded with beauty and it was certainly worth the visit!!!

this study resulted in a gorgeous patterned corduroy textile and bench...

Seventies

I wasn't so keen on seventies colours and design before. I was born in that era myself ;)

But a few weeks ago I bought this seventies flower pot at the charity shop.

Still I need to find a matching plant. It's a difficult green. I think I'll go for black.

Ankara dish

I've been searching our house for some sixties designs.......
About a week ago we met a nice man who has an incredible house!

His frontdoor gave us access to his timecapsule. Suddenly we landed in the sixties.

Although the kenderman and me are way too young to remember :))
(we're both from the seventies), we do recognise the design from the sixties.

This man had this art piece in his room we fell in love with.

Last thursday I texted him to warn me whenever he decided to say goodbye to this piece.

His answer was....... what do you have to swap?
This above Ankara dish from Carstens was one of the things I found.
