Long Gone

I'm not thinking about the smaller details right now,

just want to fill lots of boxes to bring asap to charity.

In the dead of winter my biological calendar is way off course 

or the minimalism virus is taking it's toll (big smile).

Shaker

Yesterday we went to the flea market where I found this woven bamboo basket.

It costed me just 1 € and I love it. It reminds me of the beautiful Shakers' style. 

Oak

I bought this oak wooden coat rack (portemanteau) by Marina Bautier a while ago,
I still love it!

Warm Wood

We bought this Ahrend chair 18 years ago. It was very ugly!!

The frame was still darkgreen and the wood was covered in foam and a fake leather covering.

The kenderman stripped the wood and we had the metal sandblasted and powder coated in grey.

I use the warmth of wood to balance all the cool whites in our house.

Portemanteau

I bought this for our visitors to hang their coats.

We have a built-in wardrobe for our own coats, bags, shoes and scarves.

This portemanteau (coat rack) is designed by Marina Bautier in 2006.

Made of solid oak and you can order it online.
