Vitrine

I kept thinking about a DIY show case for my beach finds and

for weeks I've been looking for a glass cover for the ceramic tray with beach finds.

Today I found a glass tray... but it didn't fit over the ceramic base.

Then I tried this wooden top of a ceramic tray as a base. Perfect fit!

Underneath here you can see why I need such a heavy glass protection (smile)...

Old School

The kenderman found a vintage truck at the flea market. Made in Holland by Zabo.

It's really hard to take a photo without at least one curious Bengal.

Tealights

The days are getting shorter and darker. Today it's raining.

I'm still adjusting to the colder temperatures but I love this time of year.

I bumped into some bark textured glasses. Perfect for a couple of tealights.

Truck

This old C.I.B. truck is one of my latest finds at the flea market.

Shaker

Yesterday we went to the flea market where I found this woven bamboo basket.

It costed me just 1 € and I love it. It reminds me of the beautiful Shakers' style. 

Brocante

Then I hit the jackpot.......  a yakpot :)
It's a wooden jar (10 cm) to store yak butter. Originally from Nepal or Tibet.

The smell inside is horrendous but it's such a beautiful object.

I'll have to think of a way to clean the inside without ruining the outside.

Acorn-shell Glass

I found this glass on a flea market.

There's a mark of a French lilly on the bottom.

Is there anyone who knows where it's from?
