Perfect Day

Yesterday we went hiking with friends in Vijlen...

After lunch we walked down hill...

we followed the Geul upstream...

came across some beautiful half-timbered houses...

and then we climbed up the steep hill...

and down hill again for the final destination...

so we could sit down for a rest with a view... and enjoy another meal together.

What a perfect day!

Dream House

We both love half-timbered houses...  find another one here

This is the one we dream about. It has been for sale for two years.
Our one and only concern, the high-voltage cables right above the house.
We can see beyond the poor condition of the house.

Frame-house

Although we realise we are incredible lucky with our house and garden, we keep dreaming :-)

We dream about a small frame-house, loam walls, fire place, self sufficiency (vegetables, collecting rainwater, solar panels), lots of land for the donkeys, chickens, meadows, hedge laying etc.

Everybody needs a dream!
