Spring Walk

Above picture was taking just after the kenderman assured me
it wouldn't rain all afternoon and we left home... 

just before it started raining! (smile)

For a while we took shelter underneath the trees

and then we could continue our walk...

Passengers are not allowed to feed the sheep in any way

but the grass in their mostly plowed field is way too short now!
The Soays really appreciated the lucious grass the kenderman provided.

We were chuffed... until they started head butting for the grass...

Another Walk

We have been walking with good friends in the beautiful surroundings of Vijlen.

It has been a perfect day!

 Abrikozekes ear has been taped by the vet.

He might pick up a signal from outer space now ☺︎

And then some well-deserved refreshments in the one and only Dutch climber's hut

The kenderman has been scything again......

White Robin

 Gorgeous! The first white Ragged Robin is flowering in our garden.

Meadow

Our meadow is in full bloom right now.

We have drifts of buttercups and ragged-robin.

Cabbage White (asa Pieris rapae, little white, klein koolwitje)

Starling

A Common Starling (asa European Starling, Sturnus vulgaris) with a beak full of red beetles.

Our meadow provides food to lots of animals.

These birds make incredible sounds, have a metallic coat and they "dance" in huge flocks.
