Pot

I thought I needed another pot for my staghorn fern and then it hit me....
A couple of years ago I made this big wobbly pot. Where did it go?
Crawling through our barn I found it covered with dust and cobweb.
I think this combo is really working :)

Crystal Clear

Today we said goodbye to one of our best friends' mother.
What touched me most were the speeches about her life.

- Life is what you make it -

Tip Ton

Curious about the forward-tilt position, I bought a Tip Ton chair on the internet.
Research shows a forward-leaning sitting position increases muscle activity in
the abdominal and back areas, which boosts the supply of oxygen to the body.
This solid plastic chair was designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.
I hesitated about the colour for a while: basic dark or ice grey?
The ice grey is a bit too blue to my taste. So I'll have to exchange it now.
I should have sticked to my old-time favourite black :)

Stool

This is a new cardboard stool for our home.
I have a soft spot for triangle patterns.
Nim has a soft spot for cardboard :)

Beregoed

This bottle stopper is "beregoed".
"Bear good" translated from Dutch literally :)
Meaning something like "really good".
This was love at first sight!
Being only 6 cm high it proves the craftmanship of the carver.
I bought these lovely dancing bears at a flea market for 4 euros.

Red Panda

Last year I was waiting to adopt this red panda. You can see my earlier post here.
This year it's our second adoption animal. The rain wasn't helpful to make nice pics.

One of the pandas curled up high in a tree.

And then a big surprise..... two youngsters in a barrel :)
