After we had been working in the garden for a couple of hours, it was time to stop.

Time to eat and drink :-)

We had a change of plans.......
We're both knackered so we're going to do some therapeutic gardening,

Surprise

There was a big surprise hidden between our plants in the front garden..... 4 wild orchids!

At first they looked like this.

Today the flowers have a purple heart.

I'm really fond of shells, fossils, sea weed, sea urchins, stones, twines, seed heads, 

So you can find these all over the house. 

Tree

This would be a great Christmas tree.

It doesn't need anymore decoration  :-)

Chicory

Yesterday we had another lovely sunny day.

Too bad it was a working day :-)

Trimming

 Our hedge was in desperate need of a trimming.

I started this job just using my secateurs and some twine a few days ago.

This is how it looks now.

The job isn't finished yet but it looks better already.

Yesterday we had a really lovely day.

The weather was superb!

We had lots of sun but it wasn't too warm.

My parents visited us and we ate a rhubarb pie :-)

Today we were planning on going to the beach but........
