Sunday Drink

This was our sunday afternoon / early evening drink.

After a few hours of hard labour /  garden work we often finish like this.

Do you have any idea what this is?

It's the Voodoo Lily (aka Sauromatum venosum, Typhonium venosum).

It was a present from our friends and we planted it in our garden.

We completely forgot about it and now we were suprised again.

Brunch

It's becoming a blog tradition, our sunday brunch.....

 What is missing on this plate? Besides his usual croissant.

I really enjoy working with clay.

Me and my mothter did some courses together until I moved away.

My mother continued and I had big plans buying my own kiln one day.

The space I had in mind for this hobby has always been filled.

At first it was full with our moving boxes and now it's packed with household clutter and my bike.

In the winter it's completely crammed because the space is also used to protect the kenderman's tree ferns.

When I'll win the lottery, not that obvious without even buying a ticket,

I'll buy a kiln and I'll finally declutter the space.

It's amazing how you can get emotionally attached to your pet animal!

I realise it would have been a completely different case having kids..........

Sil is an elderly cat, so we have to enjoy every day he's with us.
