Weeding
Here the kenderman is trying to pull a single black alder....
When we arrived 10 years ago the backyard was crowded with similar size alders.
The tree in front of the barn is a replanted self-seeded alder.

Home Sweet Home
I'm sorry for my absence... I've been in the hospital for a couple of days.
