I love this time of the year.

Although it's dark, the days are shortening and the light levels are decreasing, it's really cozy with all the Christmas lights.

Rooks

In the village where the kenderman and I were born, lives a large colony of rooks.

You can find them foraging in small groups troughout the village.

It's a shame we don't see any rooks where we live now.
We miss these clever birds.

It's incredible hard to photograph the tree.

Due to the decreasing daylight levels it's getting harder every day.

Besides the fact we leave our house and we come back to it in the dark

Me and the kenderman aren't religious but we have been visiting
churches because of our interest for architecture.
In the past, during the holiday season, my parent used to drag me and my brother into churches.
But as a teenager I was interested in something completely different  :-)
