Red Peppers

YES! We finally have some red peppers!

Green Envy

Night temperatures dropped below 10˚C so we had to bring the pepper plants indoors.

Hopefully the peppers will be able to mature into red fruits!

Empty Nest

One of our knotted white willows has an empty nest in it.

That's pretty quick considering this nest was build last spring and we planted this particular willow only 5 years ago by sticking a willow branch in the ground.
A young branch with a diameter of approxiamately 4 cm. So easy peasy :-)

This type of willow loves wet grounds and it grows incredible fast.

I'm curious if we will have a new nest in one of our knotted willows this year.

Take A Break

I work in the city centre of Eindhoven.

My work is quite hectic and there is a lack of fresh air. 

Since a couple of weeks I walk to the park when I have my lunch break.

The sound of running water and the fresh air are so much more energizing
than rushing through the main shopping street.

Garden Day

Yesterday was the first day for a long time, we worked in the garden together .

The kenderman was pruning the last two willows.

I have been tidying in the borders.

Water Tower

I think this is a water tower but I'm not 100% sure.

We pass it twice a day and I just have to look at it.

Sometimes the tower disappears in the fog and sometimes it's shiny silver.

First Snow

Last wednesday we had our first snowfall but the temperature was still above zero.

Yesterday it has been snowing for a couple of hours and the temperature is decreasing!

Although the weather forecast had predicted some rain, yesterday morning we had a bit of sunshine.

So I jumped on my bike and I went for a ride.
