Autumn

The first day of fall is upon us...

Autumn traditionally starts on September 21
The Autumnal equinox begins in the Northern hemisphere on Monday, September 23

We have 4 seasons in a year here and I enjoy all four of them.
Right now I'm looking forward to the discolouring and shedding of the leaves,
the variety of mushrooms in the woods and the smell of autumn.

Last Wednesday I spent some time outside in the sun

followed by a selfmade tasty spring salade.
Life can be so good! ☆

But this weekend it was winter again...

Being cold and windy and we had a bit of snow.

Today I've been eating smoked salmon again.

A few months ago I read a horrible article about farmed salmon.

Containing a high amount of antibiotocs and forced to swim in their own filth. 

 It definately made me decide to stop eating salmon. 

Today I've been eating biological farmed smoked salmon from Sweden with Wasabi rocket salad.

And it tasted really good!

I've just been reading it takes more than 5 pounds of wild fish to grow 1 pound of farmed salmon :(
From now on I'll be only eating sustainable caught wild fish.

 The sun is shining and after eating this sandwich, we'll go for a long walk again.
