Magical Moth

The first time we've seen and identified the broad-bordered bee hawk-moth

This buff-tip moth is incredible with his camouflage. I'm impressed!

But he would better pick a birch or branch to rest instead of this blue stone :)

The Herald

NO! It wasn't me who spilled white paint on the Herald moth, in Dutch aka Roesje ;)

Camouflage

The kenderman spotted a big moth (Red Underwing aka Catocala nupta, Rood weeskind) in our barn.

When I came running with my camera...... it flew away......

and it landed on our weeping willow :)
