Parc de Hauster

November last year we visited Parc de Hauster in Chaudfontaine.

Due to Covid one of the few trips we made that year.

I was hoping to see a Giant Clothespin sculpture by Mehmet Ali Uysal...

We saw beautiful monumental trees... interesting art... food for the soul ★

Such a wonderful day although we couldn't find the giant clothespin.

Parc de Forest

Ever since I became an admirer of Marina Bautiers work, I've wanted to visit MA's showroom.

Every last friday of the month Marina cooks lunch for 20 people.

So why not combine the two? Turns out, it exceeded our expectations!

The lunch was vegetarian and delicious and we really enjoyed the company of the other guests.

Everyone was speaking French to one another, so it was very considerate of them to speak
Dutch or English to us. My school French is not only limited but also incredibly rustic :)

Afterwards we went for a walk in Parc de Forest (aka Forest park, Park van Vorst, Zuiderpark).
