 At last... our first visit to Naturalis Biodiversity Center.

One of the world's top five natural history collections

I noticed the impressive architecture...

but I was dying and focused to get a good glimpse of the vast collection.

Piet Hein Eek

One of my old time favourite designers is Piet Hein Eek.

His business, located in a former industrial Philips building, is worthwhile a visit.

I can recommend a nice lunch and a stroll through the showroom.

Last January I took these photos during a 2-day trip to Paris.

We were on a very tight schedule so we postponed entering the cathedral

saving it for a later date (the next trip to Paris). Now I regret we didn't go in!

Last Friday I visited Paris for the first time ★

A big MERCI to my friend Antoon!!! He prepared our trip very well!

We started with Centre Pompidou to get a nice view at Paris...

On our way to the Hortus we passed Waterlooplein.

Around 25 years ago I was a regular visitor of this market (smile).

Art and Coffee

Yesterday we visited Kunst op de Koffie in Arnhem.

A biennial event where you can meet artists, exhibiting in other peoples homes.

KodK aims to find a nice artist and homeowner combo.

Such a great combination! Art and access to "strange" houses.

To me the best of both worlds! ★

We started our tour at No 06 : Karel van Gelderstraat 43.

A new build home filled with paintings of Mariës Hendriks

 I enjoyed talking to the owner about his house, interior design and art.
