Ocean

- We have one ocean, we have one world -

If you can go to the cinema to see Ocean by David Attenborough... do it!

The film, the underwater shooting, is phenomenal and the message is clear.

As humans we're disturbing the balance and the damage is incalculable.

But there is hope!

We have to change our thinking and protect a bigger area of the ocean. 

We are lucky, the restorative capacity of the ocean is incredible.

The 2025 UN Ocean conference will be held in Nice, France, from 9 - 13 June 2025 🍀

Camera Japan Festival

Last Saturday we visited the Camera Japan Festival.

The reason we travelled all the way to Amsterdam (smile)

We really wanted to see the short animated film,

designed for the Camera Japan Festival, on a extra large screen!

To my humble opinion this film is a very succesful cooperation

between some HKU students (graphics) and the kenderman (music)

In preparation for Camera Japan we enjoyed some delicious Japanese food at Tempura.

And then we headed for Kriterion.

Where we saw the animated film on a big screen (big smile)
Followed by a beautiful Japanese film Flower and Sword.
We really enjoyed it so we'll be back for a later edition!

Yesterday we went to the Agnietenkapel in Amsterdam.

The chapel dates back to the Late Middle Ages.

It appeared to me we ended up in a Harry Potter film :)

It's Only Make Believe

"Eventyrland"finally arrived! I saw the trailer and I just had to have it :)

It's a Norwegian film and at last is has English subtitles now.

"It's Only Make Believe" is the English title of this film.

The soundtrack is from Thomas Dybdahl, one of my favourite artists.
