We have been passing this luxurious sheep shed on our walking route.
We (the kenderman, the cats and me) could live there happily ever after!
I promise we would build another shed for the sheep ☺︎

Canoe Testing

We have been testing our new canoe.
The kenderman transformed a trolley into a canoe cart.

You get such a different perspective from the water.....

We have been busy today.......

Frost

The frost hit us overnight.

In front of our shed stands our new planted tree.

It's a native tree, a Black Alder seedling we found in our backyard.

I preferred a larger specimen from a local nursery but the
kenderman finally convinced me to go for the free option.

Instead of posting some photos of our sunday bruch I'm showing you something completely different :-)

The kenderman has been cleaning the gutters yesterday.

This week he's off work so he can do some more work around the house.

It's always nice for me to come home from work and see that there's been some progress at home ;-)

Another bee house

I've made this  a long time ago from some leftovers of clay.

For the decoration I used a leaf with fat veins.

After these blocks of clay were fired, they layed in our shed for quite some time before they got used at last :-)

The solitary bees use all kinds of material to fill the holes.

Broken dolomite from our driveway, white loam from our wall in the shed and all sorts of wax.
