Teambuilding

 

Tuesday was an excellent day for teambuilding ☀︎

Due to the outside activity, the weather and the nice company

(yes, sheep and colleagues), I had a really good time.

The sheep followed me quiet easily because of my 'peaceful nature' (smile)

and my cool country iron-red discoloured rubber boots

(in Flemish: katsjoe botten)

Not as early as I hoped... my Sunday morning walk... I could smell autumn

Sheepskin

When we go for a nearby walk we pass some Soay sheep.

This one has a beautiful and thick wintercoat...

Spring Walk

Above picture was taking just after the kenderman assured me
it wouldn't rain all afternoon and we left home... 

just before it started raining! (smile)

For a while we took shelter underneath the trees

and then we could continue our walk...

Passengers are not allowed to feed the sheep in any way

but the grass in their mostly plowed field is way too short now!
The Soays really appreciated the lucious grass the kenderman provided.

We were chuffed... until they started head butting for the grass...

Soay Sheep

Today the Soay sheep expected us to feed them so they came close.
Soay are the oldest breed of sheep known, dating back to 600 B.C.
Maybe we can have some sheep, donkeys and runner ducks one day.

Luxury

We have been passing this luxurious sheep shed on our walking route.
We (the kenderman, the cats and me) could live there happily ever after!
I promise we would build another shed for the sheep ☺︎

Sunday Winter Walk

Sheepad

Our best friends have been visiting us. It was reallly good to see them again.

They brought such nice presents. A sheepad and a beer brewing set.

Plant Hunt

We visited Bastin. One of our favourite nurseries. We found some Salix exigua!
We lost 2 big ones in a storm in 2010. Now we can replace them at last :)
