Amsterdamned

Today we visited Amsterdam to pick up some Ant chairs we bought on the internet.

Such a coincidence the seller lives in our favourite neighbourhood!

We were craving for some sun so we crashed at the "Cat in the Vineyard" terrace
(De Kat in de Wijngaert)

Of course we bought some food (pies) and beautiful flowers at the nearest market!

Even Eindhoven held on to some beautiful old houses...

Eames Expo

 Today we visited the Eames exhibition in C-mine Genk.

Ray and Charles Eames are two of my favourite designers.

A real bummer... your not allowed to take pictures ☹

That explains the poor quality of the next photos.

I could surely use a better (spy)phone!

Finally I got the courage to grab my camera for the last two photos...

PHE

Piet Hein Eek has developed an old Philips building and is located here since 2010.

Accompagnied by my (former) colleague Antoon, it was time for another visit.

 I really like this space... if the fireplace isn't smoking too much ☺︎

Sometimes I can take a peek at the PHE team sharing their lunch.

It's such a beautiful sight but I can't convince myself to take their picture.

At least during lunchtime they should have some peace and quiet.
